Black Film and TV Reports Leslie Black, Norman Towns cast as Leads for Christina Cooper’s The Perfect Love Storm.

Leslie Black and Norman Towns are set to star in ‘The Perfect Love Storm,’ directed by Christina Cooper.

The cast ensemble includes Clifton Powell, Cocoa Brown, Chrystale Wilson, Christina Cooper, Nzinga Imani, Orvalle Williams, Zachariah Rogers, and Nicole Crump. The script was written by Briana Cole (Behind Her Lives, Kensington). Production is set for March in Atlanta, Georgia.

Adapted from the bestselling novel of the same name by Anna Black (Urban Books/Kensington), the romantic drama follows a playboy bachelor (Towns) who helps a grieving full-figured widow (Black) to learn to love again; still, her heart is broken once more after his true intentions are exposed.

Producers include Shauna D. Balfour, P.G.A. (“Bid for Love”), Kreceda “Untamed” Tyler (“No Better Love”), and C. Nathaniel Brown (“Chi Nu Legacy”).

The film was executive produced by Christopher and Margo Speight of Camie Entertainment alongside producing partner Shawanda “N’Tyse” Williams of Black Odyssey & Boss Magnet Media.
